Hidden In Plain Sight – post 18

So above the modern shop facade is this beautiful architecture..

I have no idea about the history of this building or when it was built ( although I’d hazard a guess that it’s the later half of the 19th century) but it’s been a shop for as long as I can remember.

I have a sneaky suspicion that this was the Derby Street entrance to the Angel Inn as the details and building height are so similar!
