I spent the last Bank Holiday at Bolsover Castle in Derbyshire where they were hosting a Medieval Jousting Tournament. This also included the numerous trades and labourers that were associated with the art of jousting. So from the numerous shots I captured, here are some of my favourites…

  3. I agree about the artistic quality of the woman-and-child image. But I’m oddly fond of the third one in–the woman in medieval garb walking past the intruder from the twenty-first century . . .
