Hidden in Plain Sight – Post 49

This victorian lodge was built around 1850 and stands next to the entrance gates of Brough Park. The lodge is a lot older than the park, which only opened in 1923, so presumably the lodge belonged to the estate of Mr Brough who donated the land for the public park. Regardless of it’s history, it is a beautiful little dwelling and very unique.
